Affiliations

Berea Friends Meeting is a member of the Southern Appalachian Yearly Meeting and Association (SAYMA).

Our teens participate in SAYMA's youth group: Southern Appalachian Young Friends.

Through SAYMA, we affiliate with Friends General Conference, an association of fourteen yearly meetings.

Promoting fellowship among all the branches of the Religious Society of Friends: Friends World Committee on Consultation.

BFM maintains Observer status with the ecumenical Kentucky Council of Churches.

Legislative advocacy on national issues is coordinated by Friends Committee on National Legislation.

Friends work to address the root causes of poverty, injustice, and war through American Friends Service Committee.
